News
News is the public record of the Morayen Adumaor in motion.
It records what has been released, undertaken, completed, corrected or withdrawn. Its purpose is to make development traceable without enlarging the significance of an event through presentation.
Activity acquires a place here when there is something definite to report.
What Enters the Record
News may receive several forms of entry.
| Record form | Function |
|---|---|
| Release | Announces a new public work, document or Library entry |
| Communiqué | States a formal position, decision or public clarification |
| Development | Records a material, organisational or technical milestone |
| Field report | Reports work in research, restoration, construction or operation |
| Correction | Identifies a substantive revision, withdrawal or supersession |
The record does not require routine noise. Social reposts, vague intentions, artificial countdowns and generic activity created chiefly to keep a feed moving do not become more meaningful by being archived.
A plan may be reported when the decision or undertaking itself is materially significant. It must remain recognizable as a plan. An intention is not an achievement, a named project is not a completed structure and a projected capacity is not yet a functioning organ.
One Record, Several Channels
News, Library and the public signal serve different functions.
News preserves sequence. It records when something entered public existence, changed status or required correction.
The Library holds durable works intended for study. A Library release may therefore receive a News entry, but the entry announces and contextualizes the work rather than reproducing it.
The Morayen Signal on Telegram and the Adumaor’s other public channels distribute notices and direct readers toward the canonical record. Social versions may be shorter or adapted to their medium. Where compression creates ambiguity, the account published on this site governs.
The Standard of Record
Each entry should make clear what occurred, when it occurred and what status it presently holds.
Where relevant, an entry should distinguish among work that is planned, active, completed, suspended, corrected or superseded. It should link to the public result, document or evidence supporting its account and state what remains uncertain or incomplete.
Minor repairs of spelling, formatting or broken links may be made without burdening the record. Changes that alter meaning, status or historical understanding should remain visible through an update note, correction or later entry.
The record may acknowledge failure. A discontinued project, rejected method, missed objective or withdrawn claim can preserve knowledge when its causes and consequences are stated truthfully. Continuity requires a memory of routes that did not hold.
Publication Rhythm
News follows events rather than a content calendar.
There is no obligation to publish at fixed intervals. Silence may mean that work continues without a sufficiently definite public result. It should not be used to manufacture mystery, imply hidden accomplishments or create anticipation without substance.
Publication should occur when an event has become clear enough to describe and significant enough to preserve.
Plain speech. Verifiable fact. Visible correction.
